"The front door of the hotel is on the main street. Plenty of restaurants and small stores within a 5 minute walk. The hotel was built more than 100 years ago in an old mining town. The design is quite interesting. The staff is awesome. The outdoor ice machines were broken. I had to go to the front desk for ice. The people at the front desk offered to deliver more ice. I prefer drinking out of a glass over a can or plastic cup. I asked the front desk if they had glasses. The lady at the front desk found some glasses from days gone by. She even washed the glasses before she gave them to me. This is a great place to stay. The location, service and price excellent. Hotel Lumberjack is part of the Sonora Inn. I imagine the Sonora Hotel bought the Lumberjack Inn and changed the names around. "

"They served an excellent complimentary breakfast with waffles, cereal, English muffins, fruit, and home baked cakes, muffins and brownies. Very good! The shower plumbing needs some work but the room was very nice and comfortable and I slept well. Very good rates as well. "

"My stay was wonderful. Keep in mind this is an older historic hotel so you will not have all the modern conveniences, but the staff is wonderful, the bathtub is deep and the area breathtaking."
