"I didn't get to explore the hotel since we had a short trip planned and full itinerary. I was pleasantly surprised by the staff at the receptionist desk. I checked in at almost 2AM and had called earlier to advise I would be running late. The receptionist confirmed I was "right on time" based on the note that was on my file.
I chose to decline room service since it was a short trip. I believe I missed the knocking at the door by housekeeping when I was getting ready in the morning. Later, I received a phone call that wanted to check with me and see if I needed anything or wanted any room service after all. I appreciate the additional effort the staff made to ensure I had options available.
The lobby looked fantastic. I was there for the World Cup and the decor changed each day I was there. I really would love to stay here again if I was going back to this location. I hope that all DoubleTree hotels are managed this way. If that is true, I think this is the only hotel I would book for the rest of my life! "
