"Amazing location. Clean and comfy room. Fridge on landing where we could keep fresh dog food and milk, they can be noisy in the room so great idea. Needs to update to a decent coffee machine if the sign outside says ‘coffee house’. Only filter served and not very nice. Some really lovely, friendly staff. Would definitely come back. 9/10"

"What a lovely old school pub and hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was great (a lot of locals seemed to be eating here too). Room was simple but comfortable and very clean. We stayed n December so the cottage although small took a fair time to warm up , underfloor heating downstairs was nice but the fire needed to be on aswell to heat the cottage toa decent temp.
