Quiet stay in the woods. Perfect

Loved this place and it was a good price. We were close to the Blue Ridge Pkwy in a cabin near the small campground that was wooded and private with a porch. The cabin had great cable tv options and a warm, fireplace insert. Cabins were comfortable and clean (rustic with modern bedroom). For a no frills, off the road motel, I wasn’t expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. As the saying goes, never judge a book by it’s cover. To start things off, the staff at the front desk was very nice and made us feel so welcome. He had a table full of a variety of soft drinks and told us to help ourselves. Perfect for a short stay. Close to the Blue Ridge and lots of hikes

Great stay. Perfect home base on our weekend ski trip to sugar mountain. Clean, comfortable, and check in / out was as easy as can be. Will stay again. Also the coffee truck was on point.

Service was very slow at breakfast in the restaurant, even though there were only two other couples dining.

The room was clean. The staff were friendly. The steak at dinner was awesome. They also had snacks and drinks that you could purchase at reasonable prices in the shop downstairs. Great view.

Good service

This resort has a wide variety of amenities in great condition. The rooms are spacious, well designed, and decorated with a fantastic motif! The staff went above and beyond to help us at every turn. There was a great variety of appliances in the kitchen. Beds were comfortable. Tub was ginormous. I could go on and on...

Convenience and cleanliness

We had free hotels.com nights and were disappointed that the boutique hotel in town wouldn't accept them so we booked the hampton inn instead. I am so glad we did. It was so clean, the room and beds were so comfortable, the bathrooms/showers were awesome! We enjoyed a little outdoor patio with a fire pit and some sofas. We have been traveling 3 weeks and it ranks #1. It felt homey, had a split floor plan with two bathrooms, but most of all it comes with a washer and dryer and is a great location with parking. Outstanding.

I chose this hotel while interviewing at ETSU and was not disappointed. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the room clean, and the hotel quiet. We chose a room with a jacuzzi tub and it was a great way to relax after a long and exhausting day. The hotel is located close to many great restaurants and stores, so there are plenty of options to explore. The pillows were a little uncomfortable and I would recommend bringing your own, but otherwise a great stay!
