"I would Not recommend this hotel.
The hotel is massive with an additional building adjacent which is mainly student accommodation. They gave us a room in that secondary building where you have to change 2 different lifts (at the time were unserviceable!) and walk a long way to get there. Our room smelled AWFUL! Strong smell of sewage! Room temperature control was a joke! You could not change modes or temperature! The lowest temp was set on 20 and you could only change the fan speed and room was warm!
We put the ‘DO NOT DISTURB’ sign on. At 9:15pm, housekeeping started knocking on our door for 20 times, and before we know it, the housekeeping guy opened the door and walked in while my husband and I are in bed sleeping! Horrible! When my husband asked why he did that? He said (with broken english) that he was sorry and he mistakenly opened our room as he was delivering 2 pillows for another guest/room!!
I called the reception at 9:20pm and spoke to Eliza and explained what just happened! She did NOT apologise and kept saying that they do housekeeping until 11pm here! So unprofessional! We did not have a good night sleep, Milli the reception supervisor changed our room to the main building the day after and she compensated us for the first night, she was helpful and professional.
The main building room was better, however still not worth the money we spent.
The breakfast buffet everything served cold Even though they were on stoves.
Free Laundry/gym/rooftop bar/pool was good."
