"The location is great, it is up on a mountain past Londa but to get to it you need to go up some ver inclined hills, definitely a different experience for someone looking to be away from the big city. The host was a very attentive super friendly guy that made sure we got there safe and was always there to help us. "

"We have a wonderfully relaxing week. The villa is situated in the hills amongst the vineyards. The views are absolutely spectacular, it has been so lovely to sit on the patio and soak it all in.The pool is large and cleaned daily with 5 comfortable sun loungers and a shaded area for table and chairs. We walked across the the local winery Nipozzano where we had a tour and lunch with wine tasting in a private dining room, a very special experience. It’s easy to go to Florence on the train with several trains an hour from Pontassieve. Siena was another trip out which was a delightful city and not overly busy, worth the drive of approx 1 hr 30 mins"

Close for day trips to Florence and Poppi, which was an incredible alternative to the touristy towns. We also had the best meals at Mandri nearby - all locals - and got to meet Guido’s charming family. The home was a step back in time and a perfect escape for a quiet week in Italy. A. A"

During the day can get warm but overnight there were no issues. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Overall we highly recommend this property. "

"Hired this beautiful villa for me and three friends. We attended the MOTO GP at Mugello so we unfortunately didn’t spend lots of time at the villa. However, the house is very comfortable, super swimming pool. The games area was fun.We really liked the upper lounge area with the super comfy lounging sofas and large dining table.Would definitely consider renting this villa again."
