"This was a wonderfully managed and clean property. It is also quiet and the views are great. The town bus is a block away so it is very accessible. The kitchen was well furnished so for a family that needs to cook meals, it is great! Swimming pool is always clean. Even let us stay till 1:00 PM to check out. It is near a grocery store too!"

"Beautiful little private hotel not far from the airport. Owner and his wife are precious and sweet. Property is small, clean and lovely. Rooms are plain but nice, and some have little kitchenettes. It is pretty much out in the middle of nowhere. There was one restaurant down the road that was in process of finalizing construction and getting ready to open. It will be beautiful and very convenient when it opens, (called Drunkfish). There was a nearby restaurant that delivered decent food. If you have a car, it’s fine. If not, you are not going to have a lot of options. The beach is near, but it’s a bit of a walk down a pretty sketchy road, and has zero amenities. No chairs or nearby food/drinks. Soft black sand. Planes fly right overhead all day and most of the night. FYI, Airport shuttle was not free, 20 euro. Overall, great for the price!"

"This is a great property if you would like to stay near the airport, but also keep that in mind if you’re a light sleeper. It’s conveniently located and the staff is incredibly helpful. Eva accommodated all of my needs. The beach town of Kamari is nearby with lots of shops and great place to eat. "

"This is a beautiful hotel. But if you’re not into stairs this hotel is not for you! The reception is street level but that’s it. Everywhere else requires stairs to get to! But the views are well worth it! There is a shuttle running a few times a day into/from Fira which is convenient. It is only about a half hour walk though into town if you prefer. There is a convenience store across the street. The hotel smells like a spa! "

"The newly refurbished house was comfortable, welcoming and very well equipped. Both Anna (who looked after us on-site) and Gabriel could not have been more helpful in answering our questions and making sure that we had a comfortable stay. The lovely, shaded terrace at the front of the house meant we could really enjoy the warm weather and views. We also enjoyed watching the little harbour and its boats. Santorini was lovely. After a day visiting some of the more busy parts like Fira it was a real pleasure to come home to the relatively quiet Monolithos. The cottage is ideally placed for those who want to spend their time on the beach and the local restaurants and café are excellent. The mini-market was great – fresh bread for breakfast - and there are two good supermarkets within easy driving distance. Gabriel’s house’s central location meant that we could easily visit all different sites across the island. We very much enjoyed both the ancient sites as well as Fira and Oia villages with their amazing views. Overall an excellent holiday, made all the better by staying in a lovely, comfortable property with helpful hosts. We very much recommend this property."
