"Amazing view, pleasant staff. Unfortunately Expedia posted misleading photos of the room options so we didn’t have the two story villa as planned and was extremely disappointed. Not the hotel’s fault, and Helen, the manager, even provided a check in gift as a gesture of good will. Thank you to Kyle for honoring a last minute request and for the excellent customer service."

"The best hotel in Monterey. We stay here every year and it never disappoints. It’s beautiful, clean, smells amazing, the best restaurants and the views are spectacular. We can’t wait for our next visit."

"The staff was incredible however there were toe nail clippings on the floor when we arrived. Also the restaurant above us was very loud until late and early in the AM. The view was obstructed by a very large TV. But mostly the cleanliness of the room was a big issue."
