So far our favorite hotel on this trip. Staff was super friendly and welcoming. Great options for dinner and breakfast. It’s a smaller hotel so it felt more intimate, but was still quiet. Would definitely recommend.

Paul and Eileen were most gracious hosts, kind, amiable and generous. Delicious breakfasts, lovely views, and very comfortable. We highly recommend!

We were greeted at the door by Liz (the owner along with her partner Lee) and immediately felt very welcomed. She gave us a great recommendation for a restaurant within walking distance and it turned out to be a lovely suggestion. The home is well kept! At breakfast the next morning (which was quite tasty) we chatted with Lee and he gave us helpful perspectives on the area around us. We would have loved to have spent more than just one night!

Meals were very good, and it was convenient to have the option for dinner as well. Our room was very quiet and comfortable with room darkening curtains (necessity when visiting in the summer!). The staff were fabulous and helpful!

The hotel was really nice. The included breakfast was a bonus, but i have to say the 2 top things that made this a wonderful experience were the 5 course tasting menu and the gentleman that waited on us every day-Jacob! He is spectacular. He was very helpful, extremely informative, and very charming. He checked us into the hotel, made us drinks and then walked us thru each course of the meal, which surprisingly was one of the best meals i have had in a long time- and i just got back from Paris....

I was very grateful for extra helpful staff printing me off useful information, providing guidance to local sights and the delicious food.

The Bunkhouse B&B is a great location if you are visiting the Speyside area. The owner is friendly and was very helpful and the breakfast was great. Be sure to check out the walking trail in back of the B&B along the Spey river.

I stay at the Royal Oak every time I visit Cullen. Rooms are lovely, staff is friendly and accommodating and the food is excellent . It's a real gem.

Loved it! High quality linens and bath furnishings. Large rooms. Ben was fabulous. He was genuinely kind and accommodating and a hard worker! He popped up everywhere…restaurant and whiskey room. The whiskey room was what drew us here. Enjoyed it immensely the first night. Sadly, due to Covid hitting their staff, they did not have staff for it the 2nd night. Rebecca at the front desk did an amazing job handling the rude guest in front of me in line to check out. The invoices break out breakfast...

I loved my stay here! The staff was so kind and accommodating. I was also impressed with measures taken to be an eco-conscious operation.

Great place! A bit unusual but once you figure out the checking in great! Hosts were awesome!

The staff went out of their way to make everything easy; the location is an easy walk into downtown Elgin and very convenient for tours of the major Speyside distilleries, the Cairngorms and the Moray Firth.
