"I’d give it a 10/5 if I could. The owner was the friendliest person ever. As soon as we got there he took a picture of us in front of Fuji, offered us a drink in the lobby was very hands on with helping operations. They even had announcements on the intercom when Fuji came out of the clouds. Out of all the places we stayed while in Japan this one was my absolute favourite. "

"The staff are exceptional : genuine and respectful. The staff welcomes us every year when we return. After we climb the Mt Fuji and unable to walk further from our car to the main door, the staff will greet us from afar and help us with the luggage’s, not for tips but for their professionalism and values they cherish much. "

"Lovely unique hotel nestled near Lake Kawaguchi with views of Mt Fuji. We stayed in the traditional room with tatami mats and a private outdoor bath which was very special and memorable. Staff were welcoming and made us feel at home. Thank you!"

"Amazing location right on the front of Lake Kawaguchi. Our room had an amazing view of the lake and was walking distance to dining options, transportation, and convenience stores. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The hotel was a little older than other hotels I’ve stayed at during my stay in Japan but it was still clean. The rooms were spacious and even included a living area! Great for large groups traveling. Overall I highly recommend and most definitely will stay here again! "
