"Great to stay before flight out of MUC"

"I stumbled on this hotel by accident. But it is now my go to for Munich. It’s convenient to tours that leave from Stachus. It’s walkable to Marienplatz. It has three major Tram stops right outside the door and the main train station is across the street. The hotel and its staff are great. On a recent trip, I arrived at around 9:30 am and was just going to drop my bag and then go get breakfast. The staff noted I had come in on an international flight and went out of there way to get me in a room early. All that said, my favorite part of the hotel is the breakfast! It is a full buffet with all the classic German breakfast options. It’s delicious. An overall charming hotel with so many positive attributes. "

"The room was very small, but clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. Location is excellent, quaint area with great restaurants and shops nearby. Walkable to every thing we wanted to see - park, gardens, market, shopping, and so many great dining options. Staff was very nice and helpful. Would definitely choose again!"

"We opted to stay in a larger room at this hotel since our trip was more than a couple nights and most of the rooms are smaller. We absolutely adored the room and the hotel itself. The details are so charming and the spaces (public and private) are very comfortable. Staff were usually readily available and were always helpful and pleasant. Even if we had booked a smaller room, the common spaces at the hotel are lovely, welcoming, and comfortable. With plenty of seating indoors, games and books for adults and kids, and a charming beer garden, you can easily relax and enjoy time in the public spaces of this hotel. Overall, we adored the Cocoon and would absolutely return!"

"We spent 4 nights in Munich. We couldn't fault the hotel it was very comfortable and the rooms were very quiet. Excellent breakfast. The area outside the hotel is rather seedy but handy to be near the main station to travel to other parts of the city We didn't eat locally and mostly went of an evening to the Marienplatz area. Would certainly recommend the hotel "
