"Good location centre of town. Staff all warm and friendly. Food was fantastic, both the meal at night and the full English in the morning we could not fault. The room was the standard size, wow it was so small the door only half opened due to the bed being in the way, would go for a larger one if I’d of known. Carpets everywhere were dated, brown and tired, and need refreshing. "

There was large function taking place which I was emailed about beforehand to let me know they had moved my room to be a little bit further away from the noise , howeve r we did not retune till midnight so it did not effect us . 10 out of 10 will recommend and stay again "

"The whole town is very compressed and tight for space. Part of the charm. The rooms at the Nook may not suit some people in terms of access as there are stairs to some of the rooms. Also quite noisy as very near a couple of pubs but if you accept this as part of the surroundings then its great. Room was good, bar and restaurant down stairs with excellent service in the evening and at breakfast. Would go again. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Calf’s Head, Clitheroe. We attended a wedding at a venue not far from here, so it was a great location for us. All the staff were helpful and friendly and the downstairs bar/dining was an asset to our stay. We both enjoyed a lovely full English the morning after with the option of fruit, cereals and yoghurts. The outdoor space here is gorgeous so would definitely recommend going here to enjoy it on a nice day. The only criticism I can give is that the...

"The hotel was a good night stay. The food in the bar/ restaurant was great. The only thing was it didn’t do breakfast, they is a really nice cafe across the road that make a great breakfast. Rooms were well spacious and had been nicely decorated I would recommend this hotel. "
