"This is a unique boutique motel. It is located on a noisy, busy street with lots of sirens 24/7. The staff is wonderful. Breakfast is bare minimum but it does satisfy the morning hunger."

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Chesterfield by IHG

"When we arrived, we were informed that the property owners are now assessing a new $5.00 per day "general" charge. Staff had no idea what charge was for. I insisted charge be removed and it was the next day. Was not listed on expedia website or anything posted at site. I did not feel being "ambushed" at check in was fair. Staff very nice and apologetic. Will make IHG aware. Other than that, stay was good."

"This is my preferred type of hotel. Clean, quiet. Well maintained AT a reasonable price. Booking checking in and out were easy. I used the fitness center and it was clean, neat and all the equipment was in good working order. The pool was adequate and well maintained. The room was very comfortable and clean and the bed was wonderful!"

"Power went out Friday. I was surprised the generator only worked for the AC. It was out for several hours. I stayed at the hotel because my power was out at home. Disappointed to stay in a hotel without a full generator. No offer to reduce cost of the stay was another disappointment."

"Hotel was OK lost power second night there due to storm in the middle of the night the fire alarms went off for who knows what reason and we were outside for 45 minutes at two in the morning no explanation given this to what happened assuming someone pulled the fire alarm lots of children running around slamming doors made for a hard night to get to sleep. AC in the room was OK. Did not seem to keep it really cool one night TV did not work. Front staff was not very helpful. All in all decent hotel just some little quirks."
