This house is beautiful inside and out, and was well positioned for easy walks to New Bern’s great historical area, dining and shopping. The off street parking is a plus and the host communicated well and was quick to deal with one minor issue that came up. We would stay here again for our next trip to New Bern.
The house was perfect for my wife and I to see our son that is a Marine. It rained most of the time we were there so we spent quite a bit of time in the house which was perfect. The house was clean and inviting and even our puggle had room to play. Highly recommend if in New Bern as it is close to down towneverything downtown
We stayed for four nights at the property. The three bedrooms are upstairs but a nice size. The living space and one of the bathrooms is on the first floor. The living space and kitchen were very nice and comfortable to spend time with family. A little bit of a walk downtown but easy with great sidewalks and beautiful homes along the way. We enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable house near the historic little town of New Bern NC. Well stocked and good communications. This is a great house with lots of rooms and space.
Great house and town! The house was very well appointed and convenient to the historic downtown New Bern area. We had everything we wanted and needed for a wonderful getaway!
This is a beautiful house, very homey and scrupulously clean. Each bedroom is nicely decorated. The location is ideal for walking to the Tryon Palace, downtown shopping and the marina. The town seems to be safe. Lots of history to learn, both Revolutionary War and Civil War. I highly recommend it.
We’ve traveled quite a bit as a family of 4. Hotels, VRBO, etc.We are used to small issues. This rental had bumps, cracks and issues both small and more prominent than the norm. But the biggest headline issue was the beds available did not match the listing of 2 Queens and 1 Full. The house offered only 1 Queen and 2 Full. When we communicated this to the property manager, she doubled down insisting there were 2 Queens - even after we supplied pictures of the bedding being Full. We then measured the mattresses and supplied her with those. This and the other issues we experienced drives our rating.
