"Staying at the Station Hotel was a lovely alternative to chain hotels (that lack character and are all the same). The Station Hotel was right by the station, which was great after a long train journey up, the building had traditional character and was tastefully decorated. Had an accessible room which we didn’t book, lots of space in the room but bed was small double, could have done with king size bed but that’s our choice. Could also hear noise from next room through the connecting door, coughing and hair dryer. Easy access for parking, railway station and shopping. Would stay again but request king size bed if available or twin beds."
