"The property was great. Exactly as described and check in was very easy. The apartment has the most beautiful views over both the harbour and the beach. It was very quiet and is only a short walk to the town centre. We had a fabulous stay and wouldn't hesitate to return!!"

"This property was very clean. I love having white bedding / towels because you can see that they are clean! There were nice touches - a pint of milk in the fridge, a selection of biscuits. The decor is tasteful and attractive."

" Bedrooms a in need of deep clean as have quite a musky smell. Entry vennel & courtyard in need of clear up and upgrading. Not recommended for children due to incredibly steep staircase"

"Beautiful property within walking distance of restaurants, takeouts, stores and pubs. All in all a great stay since being there for 5 nights we had a kitchen/fridge/dining table and living room - especially since most breakfast restaurants are not open until 9am. Had some questions about the hot water and the owner was responsive and helpful. Only complaint was too many stairs for us with luggage since I am diabetic and had a broken shoulder. Wasn't a problem without our luggage."

"Our accomadation was changed from The Carrick Retreat to Bay Veiw a couple of weeks before we arrived. On a whole our apartment was very nice and clean, bathroom was lovely with towels supplied, the bed was very comfortable with super soft linen. We had a couple of maintenance issues and one of the arm chairs had a broken leg and the sofa which converts to a bed was quite uncomfortable and also had loose arms. When we called the maintenance issues in the staff were very apologetic and...

"We were booked in to no. 9 but moved as we had been doubled booked. No. 2 Apartment described as recently refurbished - bathroom has not been updated in 20 plus years. Upon speaking to Donnini - refurbishment means a new settee and table & chairs in the kitchen! Apartment was not clean - marks on bedding, cobwebs in the lampshades, carpet disgusting, kitchen floor and the wall to the side of the bathroom had not been cleaned in a long time!
