It was off the beaten path and felt like a mini castle. The room was comfortable with luxury-feel bedding and linens. The dining experience was very lovely and the buffet breakfast was amazing! It was the perfect stay for our first night in Scotland.

Loved the beach front room! It was quite a nice clean room with a comfortable bed. Fully stocked in room continental breakfast. We loved watching the sunrise over the bay from our bed. Delicious little pizza shop just around the corner.

The attention to detail is evident throughout the property. The staff service is exceptional, as was the food. The grounds are beautiful. One of my best hotel experiences Only negative was that the wine list contains wines from our Fake 45!

My favorite hotel in Scotland. Consistent excellent standards in hospitality, comfort, and food. Only negative is the decor in most of the public areas is starting to look tired.

Extremely gracious and friendly hosts. Surrounding countryside gorgeous and breakfast with homemade bread wonderful. Highly recommend!

Staff was super helpful and accommodating. Linda was especially helpful, including accommodating an early arrival and arranging for laundry services. The food was excellent, as was the service.

Guest house with common areas on the first floor- comfortable living room, clean dining room and spacious kitchen. Our host was available both breakfasts to make coffee, ensure adequate food was available and did the dishes! Fun conversationalist as well. The upstairs had the bedrooms- small but comfortable with great shower.

As a solo traveler, This is a fabulous place to stay. Great food, comfy bed, friendly staff. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Only downfall is there is no elevator and I was on 3rd flr. Was a great work out though. Prepped me for all the stairs at the castles I visited. Oh and they were extremely busy with the locals hanging out in the bar or coming to have dinner.
