"Gorgeous view and location. Was unaware that the restaurant was closed due to flooding which was inconvenient as when we booked it said that the restaurant was still operational. Everything was a bit run down but clean and smelled great. Shower appeared to be a bit dirty around the edges and sink took a while to drain and toilet didn't flush well. The resort manager Clare was lovely. Loved the glow worms. Would've been nice to know that the restaurant and a huge majority of the bar area is...

"We really loved our spontaneous trip to Rotorua. Thanks to Ripple! The room was warm and incredibly clean! Located right in front of the Rotorua luge which makes so easy to go and enjoy the activity early! We also loved the spa and heated pool. My child loved the trampoline and the playground! Great for families with young children!"

"We got this place because it could cater to a party of 7 adults + 2 kids. Surprisingly when we got the keys we could have easily slept 12-14 people as we had more beds then heads. This made our stay super comfortable. Beds were comfy and there was lots of space, it wasn't cramped. It's not a super modern motel but was great value for money, especially for a big group. I will book here again."

"Quick and easy check in. Modern hotel with a very large room (king with lake view). Only parking option is valet so be prepared to pay for valet upon arrival. Within easy walking distance to more restaurants than you can visit. Disappointed that there wasn't a pool. Didn't like that price for breakfast went up if we didn't commit at check in. The price should be the same for guests regardless of when you decide to have it. Overall, a good experience "

"Please remove “sound proof” from the room description. I had loud neighbours that were very loud where if I spoke their language would have been able to understand the whole conversation. May have been the lack of sound proofing in the locked door that joined the rooms. Other than that the experience was great. Comfortable bed, very nice food, friendly staff especially checking/out staff. Will definitely stay again, but hopefully with less noisy neighbours."
