"We were pressured to upgrade our room upon check-in. The room was spacious and we had a great view of both falls, but the hotel was in disarray. Most elevators were not working and there are over 40 floors, so it caused a lot of delays. Breakfast on our 3rd day changed to a new location (IHOP) and led to a 1-2 hour delay for food. We also didn’t know the hotel was changing from Embassy Suites to Hyatt until our last day. It might improve once renovations are done, but it would have even nice to have a heads up about the disruptions in advance. "

"Rooms were dated and old looking for somewhere advertising they just got through renovations. Rust on the bathtub. Floors and beds were kind of grungy. Windows still had wood sills with 100 coats of paint. Condensation all over single pane windows. I asked the front desk for towels for the pool. I was told they were in laundry. I asked if he had any idea as to how long until they would be done and he said "no idea, theyre washed offsite, i have no control over it". To then ask one of the room cleaners if she had any. She immediately put about 20 towels in the pool for use. You get what you pay for. Ive been to other hotels with a similar price, and they were much better maintained. I would not go back."
