The property owner was instantly available by mobile phone, checking all was well and leaving ice cream in the freezer for us and fresh flowers. Certainly going the extra mile."

"Cedar Lodge was exactly what we were looking for and we felt at home as soon as we arrived. The accommodation was clean, cosy and very well equipped and the hosts Caroline and Neil were very welcoming. The comments in the visitors book showed that many people have visited here several times and feel it’s the best holiday home they have stayed in. The location is very quiet and the view from the deck is beautiful. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we are visiting the area."

"We stayed here for a weekend, to attend a wedding nearby - two adults and two children (aged 5 & 9). The configuration of the apartment was perfect: there are two double beds on the top floor, all kind of in the same room but separated by a wall (it makes sense once you see it), which was perfect for us. "We had a really lovely stay - the room was spacious, really nicely designed, fresh muted colours, with stylish details (and lots of plug sockets!), very comfortable bed, an excellent shower room, peaceful spot with lovely view, yet easy to walk into town, great staff, felt very festive and cheerful decorated for the season. parking easy to get at too and very central."
