My family loves the rustic character of our older beach front cottage and we

hope you will too.



Sometimes you can hear the wind whistling through the original single pane

windows. You can smell the wood burning fireplace as an occasional draft

works it's way down through the hundred year old chimney and fireplace. Some

of the original plumbing fixtures remain, working fine, but aged. The

original wood floors can creak from time to time and the sand has a way of

working itself in through the many crevices that open and close with the

humidity of the bay. Some of the doors and windows may not open with ease as

they suffer from the same malady.



You can see the water from the porch, sitting room and the main living area of

this very cool beach front property. This home features 3 large bedrooms

containing very comfortable pillow-top mattresses and high end bedding. There

are 1 1/2 bathrooms and a roomy living room and kitchen.



It has a very large porch for grilling out (Charcoal Grills) and socializing.

We recently installed a 50" Smart TV and WiFi.



We have on site parking for two vehicles, with space for 2 more just in front

of our garage. This set up is perfect for your 4 legged friends - with

hardwood floors, don't worry about the sand that is sure to follow you in.

Clean up is a breeze. Fall asleep listening to the gentle waves of the

Chesapeake Bay. And let the cool breeze blow away the present day stress!

Join us with a small step back in time as you enjoy our Rustic Beach Cottage

situated right on the beach of the Chesapeake Bay!



The Master Bedroom has a Queen Size Pillow Top Mattress , the 2nd Large

Bedroom also has a Queen Size Pillow Top Mattress , and we have just added a

Full Size Bed for a few extra guests, if needed. The 3rd Bedroom has 3 Twin

Size Pillow Top Mattresses.



I would like to temper your expectations of our Rustic and Historic Beach

Cottage. This home is perfect for those who are coming here to enjoy the

beach. We know that we have flaws, however the home is not for sale. So if

the beach is the draw, kick off your shoes and enjoy! Even with a thorough

modernization the property is a historical home that is now over 113 years

old. It has some eccentricities that reflect building standards and designs

from the turn of the last century that lends to its charm as an older beach

cottage. Our bathrooms are not as large as modern built, but even so, we hope

that you will love our older and charming home.



As this is a residential area, we ask that our guests be respectful of the

neighbors by keeping noise levels to a minimum.



This unit is completely private and shares nothing with other units - except

the semi-private beach. You have private parking, entrances and exits,

barbecue grills (charcoal) and a wide, expansive and private back porch. Years

ago, two additional units were carved out of this Beach Front Property - one

in the attic and one in the basement.



I hope you enjoy the rustic nature of this cottage as much as we do!









Pet Fee is $99 per pet and per stay plus tax and processing fees.



If not disclosed prior to your stay, the pet fee is $300



Pets must be house trained and stay off of bedding and furniture An Extra

Cleaning fee of $99 will be charged to remove pet hair from bedding or

furniture



Extra Charges:



Early Check-In for 1 PM - $75 (if available)



Late Check-Out at 1 PM - $75 (if available)



Normal Check Out is 10 AM.



A fee of $45 per hour is charged beginning at 10:05 AM



Cleaners are on a schedule and can not be kept waiting!



Quiet hours begin at 9 PM. This is a Family/Residential unit and area. No

loud music or noise.
