"Peggy and Winston (the handsome springer spanial) are very hospitable. I felt at home and she makes really good breakfast! I had full rhelm of the living room and the front yard. I enjoyed a hot cup of coffee the next morning while lounging on a rocking chair enjoying the sounds of the birds in the lovely patio. What a treat! Thank you SO much! Did i mention the compound is a historical site?! "

"The Palacio de Marquesa had a chef that prepared a hot gourmet delicious breakfast for us. His name was Nicholas and he was very friendly as well. There were fresh cookies available all day. Our room ( casita ) was very roomy, comfortable and stylish as was the entire Inn. There was also a fridge in our room which was convenient and appreciated. The inn keeper, Pam, gave us all her cell number and encouraged us to call for anything. It was a lovely stay. We hope to return one day in the near...

"The staff here seemed very inconvenienced at any question they were asked. Service at the restaurant was slow when we went for drinks. At breakfast the staff was downright rude to us whenever we were near them or asked a question. Checkin offered 0 helpful information such as what time breakfast was. The room however was very clean and comfortable and the location is wonderful. The construction was a bit of an annyance in terms of noise and maniuvering in the parking lot but the team kindly...

"I looked forward to staying at the La Fonda! But unfortunately some of the staff was pretty snotty. They made me fell less than. I was really hurt about that. Just because i didn't wear fancy cloths or my family was a problem.. how rude... and these were young workers and don't need to be treated less than. I will never stay here ever. To expensive to be treated less than. This was supposed to be a treat for my family and i was very disappointed 😞 "

"The hotel is very close to the Plaza, museums, galleries, shopping, restaurants and other attractions. Their parking is underground and convenient to register and coming/go. We had a junior suite with king bed and it was nice to have the extra room. The furnishings and room were beginning to look worn as would be expected in an older hotel. "
