"Unique roundhouse construction and great hosts who make your stay enjoyable, share details about the construction and are happy to give tips on the area. They won't let you leave hungry either. We reserved two side-by-side rooms for a family of four. If you find yourself in the area or perhaps taking the scenic route to/from Ottawa - this is an interesting and friendly place to visit for a night or two. We visit this area each summer and will be back."
"What a pleasant surprise this was! It has everything to expect in a typical roadside motel but the bathroom has a nice large soaker tub. Everything very clean, the AC works and the restaurant was charming with excellent homemade dishes. There is a lazy river floating by the trimmed backyard grounds. "

"Nice tidy clean rooms. Staff was friendly. Let's face it, it's not a Marriott resort but the room was clean and the linens fresh and they even had a Keurig coffee maker. Right in the heart of 'downtown' Haliburton.
