"So the place was beautiful. Got in relaxed had dinner then once the sun went down it got cold put the aircon on and it blew cold air our room was 16 degrees also is winter managed to get it to 18 in 2 hours then go to have a shower the water was cold ran it for 20min with my naked wife freezing to get it just warm to soap up and rinse off. A staff member became up to help and he told me he would get engineering onto it this week, but we were only staying for the night. I asked if we could move rooms he said they were booked out and if I wanted to, I could pack up and leave. Poor service by the staff and then went to order pizza for Room Service to try and keep my partner happy ment to be within 15 min took over 45 min."

"We firstly were disappointed with our Accommodation, wasn't cleaned, Room dated, Furniture wasn't the best. Would not rate it an 8.5 like it said. We spoke to Lady in charge and she was so apologetic and had our room re-cleaned and delivered us a rug as no heating. Location was perfect, Tram station out the front, Northcliffe Surf club a block away and 10 minute walk to Cavill Av. Would think of staying again as price was good and great Location, but would remind them of some Cleanliness."

"The room itself met our needs; however, upon checking in late at night, we discovered it had not been properly cleaned. There was underwear hanging on the bathroom door and no fresh towels provided. We raised this issue at reception the following morning and were advised the room would be deep cleaned. When we returned later that day, only the beds had been remade. There were still no towels or amenities, and the room had an unpleasant smell. We made a further complaint regarding the lack of towels and were offered some at reception, however, for the remainder of our stay the towels were not changed, despite the hotel room guide stating that they should be. On our final day, we left the room to explore and returned at approximately 4:00 pm to find the room had not been serviced. To make matters worse, while getting ready for dinner, cleaning staff entered the bathroom despite the “Do Not Disturb” sign being clearly displayed on the door."
