Front desk staff was very pleasant

I saw a lot of mixed reviews online... but people need to consider this hotel JUST opened! And, it's opened in an up and coming University neighbourhood... not all the apartments in the area are full yet, and people are still not traveling as much as they used to. Wonderful, tastefully updated property. No detail has been overlooked. Host is very friendly, although a bit too much though. He was very kind, but some people just prefer to be left alone.

This hotel is very clean and modern. Lots of (paid) parking available.

A lovely local place to stay with king size beds, air conditioning, mini fridge, morning coffee, fabulous showers, high ceilings, a great staff. All tucked away behind an outdoor area and a wonderful traditional English pub.

Great breakfasts. Clean room with everything needed including hairdryer and large closet with drawers and hanging bar. Friendly and helpful people. Simon is very helpful and cooks well. Well stocked bar with a great atmosphere. If you like, you can see the large German shepherd who likes everyone. It's in a quiet and peaceful village next to a small convenience store. Spacious rooms with relatively new upgrades to be sure — so no complaints in room experience. Staff are absolutely wonderful, too. Please note that the property is a dated 1990s layout and architecture and styling. It’s all in serviceable, acceptable condition — just a few decades dated.

serve yourself breakfast worked well. the dining menu in the pub was excellent. a good selection of tap beers and spirits as well

Was a wonderful stay for my wife and me. If near Cambridge you must stay here. the breakfast was to die for.. Excellent that is :-). And the owner was amazing - helpful, friendly, and the room was beautiful and clean. Hope to return in a few years!

Very pleasant hotel. Fantastic food and service. Only gripe was that the weather was hot and there is not AC in to rooms, but a fan is provided and that made the night ok

Rectory Farm is a very pretty hotel on an idyllic yet very conveniently located property. I've stayed with them twice and look forward to doing it again.

Hosts were very accommodating and the location was perfect to visit family and friends . A walk to the village shop while having the river so close were ideal. We hope to make it back soon.

Excellent modern property. Not real easy to get to reception area if you’re driving. A bit confusing when you pull up and it’s a busy corner to be confused.
