Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances dans la villa. L'accueil fut très chaleureux. La situation géographique permet d accéder en 1 heure à divers sites à visiter (plage, montagne, arrière pays,...) et typiques de la région (anglet, Saint Jean de Luz, Pau, Vallée d'Ossau...). Magnifique séjour

Vue panoramique exceptionnelle!! Nous avons passé un séjour parfait: la maison est très agréable, la piscine est magnifique et l'accueil par Madame Balestra était très chaleureux. A noter que les photos sont en deçà de la réalité, des rénovations ont été faites, dans la cuisine notament.

Belle propriété. Vue magnifique. Plusieurs terrasses. Belle piscine. Cuisine neuve fonctionnelle. Emplacement idéal pour découvrir les différentes vallées. Bémol pour certains équipements frigo plancha désuets. Surpris car l’annonce parlait d’une villa climatisée…les nuits auraient été plus douces

Propriété ancienne, mais assez agréable

Vaste propriété et bien équipée. La vue sur la chaine des Pyrénées est superbe (mais faut qu'il fasse beau) même lorsque vous êtes dans la piscine. La maison d'architecte datant des années 70, mériterai un petit coup de jeune (surtout la cuisine). Si vous aimez les œuvres d'art, vous serez servi. 8 personnes pendant notre séjour, le réfrigérateur est poussif. Dans la généralité, le logement est assez bien équipé en ustensiles de cuisine et vaisselle. Petite remarque négative sur la propreté, mais la propriétaire, très à l'écoute, va y remédier. Bon séjour en général sauf le temps qui n'était pas trop au rendez-vous.

Excellent séjour mais un peu froid

La villa est magnifique, spacieuse et elle dispose de tous les équipements utiles à un agréable séjour. Le seul bémol tient à la difficulté de chauffer un espace aussi grand.

Grosse déception - à éviter

Après avoir fait le ménage au bout de 24h au vu du besoin (aspirateur bien rempli, eau de serpillère noire et vaisselle grasse), nous avons découvert que le chauffage de la piscine ne fonctionnait pas. Nous avions choisi justement une location avec piscine chauffée en raison de la météo locale habituelle (confirmée : un jour de pluie sur deux du 25 juillet au 10 août...). Contactée, la propriétaire nous a envoyé paitre, indiquant que les "problèmes mineurs de piscine" n'étaient rien à côté de ses problèmes personnels. Sa solution : faire nos bagages et nous rembourser ! Nous sommes restés (impossible de trouver une solution de rechange). Le chauffage de la piscine a été réparé deux jours avant notre départ (sur 15 jours). Nombreux besoins de maintenances (lave-vaisselle, placards...) et dépoussiérage (canapés, coussins...) à faire dans cette maison humide. La propriétaire nous a proposé une semaine gratuite hors été pour nous dédommager : nous avons évidemment décliné !

Un endroit parfait pour se détendre et explorer

Nous avons adoré cette propriété. C'était tellement tranquille, avec une vue fabuleuse sur les Pyrénées et une piscine excellente. La campagne environnante est si jolie avec de nombreuses petites villes charmantes et bastides historiques, à courte distance de Pau, Salie de Béarn, Biarritz et de la frontière espagnole. Mme Dumartin était très sympathique et serviable, avec une connaissance encyclopédique des choses à faire. Bien recommandé. Nous sommes déjà tentés de revenir. Julie & Rhod Newcombe Septembre 2018

Beautiful House and Fantastic Setting

The house was amazing and was so peacefully quiet. The pool area was great and we could not help but admire the view and gorgeous countryside the whole time we were there. So relaxing. We had a fantastic holiday!

Einfach perfekt! Wir haben in dieser sehr schönen Villa traumhafte Ferien verbracht. Très belle propriété avec un petit bémol

Ce petit bémol concerne une des chambres qui est sur la mezzanine donc ouverte sur le salon et qui ne bénéficie d'aucun rangement pour vider les valises.Sinon très belle piscine avec une vue magnifique sur les pyrénnées(peut être 2 ou 3 bains de soleil à changer) Nous avons passées de très bonnes vacances.

Stijlvol huis met prachtig uitzicht!! Genieten

We hebben genoten van een fantastisch rustig verblijf in de smaakvol ingerichte villa met een uitzicht dat alleen al heel veel waard is! Zowel bij mooi als bij slechter weer is het heerlijk verblijven in het lichte huis. Het zwembad zonder chloor is een zaligheid voor jong en oud ! By night koken op de plancha met uitzicht op de Pyreneeën ... echt een aanrader. Zoals het op de foto's voorgesteld staat is het in werkelijkheid ook! Regio is minder toeristisch en dat vonden wij alleen maar een voordeel. Vele uitstapmogelijkheden:BILBAO, SAN SEBASTIAN, dicht bij de Atlantische kust om te golfsurfen, Canyoning.. . Ideaal huis voor gezin met tieners of vrienden/families misschien iets minder geschikt voor een gezin met heel kleine kindjes gelet op het mooie meubilair.

Excellent séjour dans la Villa Aquitania

Les photos m'avaient convaincue de choisir cette villa plutôt qu'une autre.Nous n'avons pas été déçus. L'architecture rigoureuse, l'espace, la décoration personnalisée mais aussi la vue sur la chaine des Pyrénées, tout a concouru à se sentir très bien ici. La piscine chauffée a compensé le soleil capricieux de ce début d'été. Une belle expérience comme dans les belles villas de la côte.

Perfect French country experience

The perfect French country experience! After Paris, this was exactly what we needed- stunning country, fresh air, amazing views and a beautiful, big house with a pool for sunset cocktails and midnight dips. We hosted a friend for a few days and had lovely day trips to the beach in Biarritz, the local market at Navvarenx and the Laas chateau... will go back next time to discover the route de fromage and local vineyards. Also appreciated the upstairs library and spa bath- very inspiring to read and work in! The exerience cleared the head and refreshed the soul!
