"A return visit to Oahu for my wife and I, and a first time visit for our adult children. We are definitely happy with our overall stay. The home was clean, had plenty of room and decorated nicely. The kitchen and Master bath remodel was wonderful and well equipped. The pool is beautiful and a huge asset to the home. We spent many lazy days in the pool! We loved the neighborhood too. Nice and quiet, with anything you need just a short drive or walk. Unfortunately, the beds were horrible! Our master bed was trash. The mattress is toast and the frame rail looked to be broke as well. My children said their beds were just as bad. I couldn't stay here again without all new mattresses. Maintenance issues on the exterior as well. A lot of rotted wood on the exterior, in particular the pergola over the hot tub. One of those beams are so rotted it's likely to come down on someone's head. Also, the roof leaked in the main room next to kitchen. The signs showed it's been leaking for a while. We had a few different puddles on the floor when it rained. All in all, we had a great vacation! I mean, it is paradise!I hope this helps,Troy W."

Kailua Oceanfront-60' Lap Pool - Upscale Quiet Neighborhood - Legal

"The place and location are excellent for Kailua beach and groceries. One thing to note is that there are two units, one faces the ocean and one faces the back of the property with a view of the neighboring houses, street and pool (we were in the latter). Street is quiet as it is a cul de sac. Also of note is that this is a very authentic neighborhood experience— with construction noises and dogs barking and landscaping staff both in the property and neighboring houses. There are only very quiet cats on the property. The noise was not excessive for us, but a major roof renovation is underway so visitors may want to keep that in mind. The kitchen is well equipped— lots of opportunity for cooking and stocked for coffee and tea. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine (so nice!), flowers, and lovely toiletries. Amply supplied with towels. Well lit and a lovely lanai on both sides for eating and relaxing. Shower is great. Access to the loft is via a ladder — so be sure you are very spry if you’re planning to spend anytime up there. Bring eye shades if you are sensitive to light.wonderful place!mahalo for having us!"

No air, and since the unit is at the very back of the house furthest from the beach, it can be a little too warm in the late afternoon. Nicely equipped including beach chairs, beach towels, and access to the beachside chairs and table shown in the photo."

Great location for easy beach access and a quick drive into town with so many great local businesses nearby. Property was spotless and hosts were responsive when we had questions.
