Getting around is pretty simple in Alpine Meadows! We suggest that you do have a car (AWD or 4WD in the winter) to get the most out of the area. There is the TART, public transportation, which is a great option if you do not want to drive, and you can take this almost all over the valley and around Lake Tahoe. During the winter, we do have a local shuttle that can pick you up at the door and take you to the ski resort.
To ensure a transparent and wonderful stay, please review these important details: - Firewood is not provided. - Accessibility: Please be aware that there are 3 steps required to enter the home. - Construction Notice: Please be advised that construction is expected at the complex through the end of summer and fall of 2025. - No Air Conditioning: Like most homes in Tahoe, our cabin does not have AC. - Mountain Life: Dust and pollen can accumulate quickly on outdoor furniture. We strongly recommend purchasing external trip insurance, as our cancellation policy will be upheld. - Safety: The home is equipped with smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms, and a first aid kit for your safety. - Please refer to the Rental Agreement for a full list of the local STR Rules. - Emergency Power Outage Kit: Situated above the fridge, this kit contains flashlights, a lantern, a power bank, battery-operated candles, glow sticks, and hand warmers to ensure your safety and comfort during power outages.

This is a great spot to stay when optimizing or as much skiing as possible. It’s comfortable, but minimal. Perfect for a small group to have breakfast at the slopes come home make dinner watch a movie and crash. The wood stove was a major bonus!
We had a wonderful stay at this location. While we had some brief issues with the lockbox when we arrived, the management company was fantastic and called us back promptly at 10:00 pm and helped us enter. The condo was clean, well-stocked and as pictured. We had a very comfortable stay and I hope we will be able to book here again in the future. Thank you!
Condo had everything we needed and had cute decor. Close to Tahoe City and 5 minutes from the Alpine Meadows Stables, which was also a wonderful experience. A nice view of the woods from the veranda.
I went with my 3 adult children so having reliable WiFi was important. A fully stocked kitchen made meal prep easy. The location being close to the slope was ideal. The parking spaces is right outside the unit. There were enough beds for all of us. We definitely recommend this place to anyone considering going to Palisades.
John and the team were proactive, easy to reach and excellent at communicating about weather related issues. They solved problems before they even became problems. The condo, location and snowboarding were incredible. Highly recommend!
Overpriced. Absolutely nothing in walking distance
There is literally not a single open business in walking distance. And every single restaurant at Alpine closes by 2 pm. At Truckee, Tahoe City, and Palisades , there are endless restaurants. Rental options in Truckee, and Tahoe City are much less expensive and make way more sense.
No way to ski in / out unless MAYBE you want to cross country / hike where there is no path meant for it.
We could handle the price, but it was way overpriced for what and where it was.
We really enjoyed staying at this Alpine Meadows condo. It’s about a 10 min walk to the closest lift (Subway). About as close as you can stay. The place is very clean and you can tell it’s been recently updated. The WiFi is blazing fast, so you will have no problem working or streaming movies. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and there are plenty of extra pillows and blankets. I would stay again!
Our family of 5 had such a nice long weekend steps away from the slopes. We were able to ski out no problem - and sort of ski back in. The condo was spotless and had everything we needed including a small foosball game that our kids loved and became proclaimed experts at. All around great, little spot.
