"The first night we were there, the power went out due a wind storm. The nearby generator kicked in around 4:00 am and was so loud we couldn't sleep. The office manager was very responsive to our request for a quieter cabin. He moved us to a very nice king cabin on top of the hill with a great view and a hot tub, no extra charge. I would definitely come back here. "

"Rooms were on the cleaner/nicer end for the chain. It's a consistent option for the area that overall has limited nearby hotel options. This location didn't have disposable slippers like they usually do. Limited dining options nearby."

"The property was perfectly located to explore both the Redwood National Forest. The hikes were so close. We were even able to get in a quick hike before heading to the airport. "

"My entire family loved the house. The views are breathtaking and the house is so cute. This house is equipped with everything you would need in the kitchen, bathroom, ALL ROOMS. In addition there are a variety of games for all ages that you and your family can enjoy. The house in addition to redwoods made our vacation a memorable experience. "

"We absolutely loved this property. It was actually far better and nicer than the pictures showed. The 2 beds/mattresses were newish and extremely comfortable. Large closet with hangars. Tons of windows and natural light. Kitchen was perfect and very very well equipped for cooking in. The small sunroom with daybed was perfect for morning coffee and watching wildlife. Only note to future renters is that the road in is a single dirt lane - you will likely meet someone during your stay and have to back out. Not a biggie though. If we go back to this area of CA, we would absolutely stay here again. "

"Stayed for 3 full days with my wife for our 10 year anniversary, and still felt like there was so much more we could have done in the area! Situated perfectly outside of the Redwood national forest, and also lots of beach and coast to take in. If you love the great outdoors like we do, I can't recommend this cottage enough. Cozy, charming, clean, well maintained, with an excellent welcoming committee; a couple of friendly dogs! One of them likes to bark at visitors, but only out of excitement for the opportunity of people paying attention to him! They are super friendly and well behaved 3 The homemade bread provided is simply divine! The only minor improvement I could suggest to the hosts would be to include a couple ice cube trays in the freezer. 10/10 stay and one of the best trips of our lives"
