"Our family stayed here for one night on a quick jaunt down from Newport, OR to see the Redwoods in Jedediah Smith Park. The cottage was very comfortable and thoughtfully designed throughout. It looked as if it would be comfortable for longer stays as well."

"Before arrival we attempted to contact the property manager and were greeted with a confrontational outgoing message, that essentially stated he was not willing to be reached. The road going in was barely accessible. We saw two bears on the way in and the door to our "room" could not be secured, and opened on its own. We were not safe from other visitors let alone bears. "This was the perfect little cabin for our Spring break Redwoods trip! We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed the peaceful setting and convenient location. It’s just outside of Crescent City with easy access to the surrounding attractions. We highly recommend this property if you’re looking for more of an immersive adventure than a hotel,and more creature comforts than camping! "
