"The location in downtown Crescent City was perfect for our needs. We were there to explore the Redwoods. There is a nice coffee shop three blocks down, Paragon Cafe and Coffee. We went there every day during our stay. Initially, our room was not cleaned well. I brought this to the attention of the hotel rep and they immediately moved us to another room. Overall, the room is clean and we were comfortable in our room. Great customer service. Check-in and out process was simply and quick. I would stay here again. "

"Beautiful home in an amazing location! The house itself is so cute and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and other thoughtful amenities like games, puzzles, a cd player and cute back porch with a fire pit and hot tub. The location can not be beat, just a stones throw from Jedidiah Smith State Park and some of the best redwood hikes available anywhere. We would definitely stay here again and wish we stayed longer this visit! "

The cabin comes with a full-sized bathroom, a bedroom with a full/queen bed, plus a twin foam mattress that can be used on the floor. The sofa could work for an extra guest, though it's not a sleeper. There’s a small kitchenette with a stove, microwave, and mini fridge, along with a two-person dining table in the corner. Outside, the porch has two chairs for morning coffee or evening unwinding, and there's also a picnic table close by. The downsides: there’s no TV or Wi-Fi, and the door lock was low on battery which caused beeping during the night. Since we were just stopping overnight on our way north, the lack of TV and internet didn’t affect us too much—but it’s worth noting for travelers who need to stay connected. Overall, it’s a great spot if you’re looking to unplug, relax, and enjoy a secluded retreat. Not ideal for those who need consistent connectivity, but wonderful for a quiet escape. "
