it’s so nice to finally not hear neighbors at a stay, soundproofed and private. Also clean!

The best hotel

We drove until we were afraid hotels were going to close and this was closest. No plan except to geocache nearby and drive on in morning. But if we were horse people, this was perfectly situated in pleasant area with several geographical beauties to ride to/by. Staff was awesome, but we saw them for only ten minutes. People must got to bed early or we were out of horse season, but felt we had the hotel and the entire plain to ourselves. Sweetly spooky. Rooms were Nordic sophisticated and...

The apartment was really nice, the only thing is that the lock was too short to work, so we just had to block the door!

Polite staff and convenient location for exploring southern Iceland

This was a lovely property and a great place to stay. I would highly recommend it to anybody overnighting in Selfoss.

Could not recommend this place highly enough. The check in was quick and the front desk attendant walked me to my room. The rooms all had a view of the river that runs behind the hotel and the mountain that overlooks it. Dinner at the restaurant was great. And the outdoor hot tub was a great place to relax and enjoy the northern lights

Kristinn, the host was amazing. We simply asked for a later check out and she gave us an additional 2 hours, no problem. Place was adorable, hot-tubs were hot, plenty of parking for us all.

We stayed our first night at Hotel Selfoss. It is located facing the river, which was a great view to wake up to. The continental breakfast was great! Dining in the restaurant looking at the river was a perfect way to start the morning. The hotel has a modern and stylish feel to it.

Enjoyed the very comfortable easy hotel ork. Delicious food at breakfast and dinner. Helpful staff especially Nuno. Great clean room with everything we needed.

Accomodation is perfect for a family of 4. Home away from home, it had all the amenities you need and a super accomodating host!

Overall a very unique, beautiful, cozy place to visit in Iceland! Would highly recommend! I can tell a lot of heart and consideration went into the building of this tower, with so many lovely touches in the design. I loved looking through the photo album upstairs showing the history of this building. If it wasn't so cloudy during our visit, this place would provide incredible views of the Northern Lights with so many windows in every direction. I want to warn light sleepers that in the winter...

The room was so cute and comfortable. It had a kitchen with all the appliances and kitchen utensils you could possibly need, it even had some pantry staples stocked. The bathroom was designed well, the whole room was actually. Also, I showed up after midnight, expecting to just collect my room key at the reception but an owner came out to greet me and show me to my room which was so nice of her. I highly recommend this place.

Good hotel in the area of the golden circle Convenient to visit the beatufull sightseeing of this area

Would absolutely stay again if in the Selfoss area. Breakfast was sensational, the staff available and personable, the room was excellent. Sadly the weather was not cooperating for a visit to the farm animals.
