"Room is small but well organized. Onsen was a nice unexpected extra. Area around was great for dining options and very ideal for doing day trips. As others mentioned, the elevators can be a bit slow/busy and you can hear the street. Overall we had a very comfortable stay and would stay here again. "

"I liked that it was just next door to one of the underground stations and also walkable to the famous Namba and Dotonbori areas. The hotel has a swimming pool, a spa, and a restaurant inside, even though we did not use any facilities due to our tight schedule. I did not like that there was a cockroach in our bathroom. The staff was very quick to come and spray the area with insect chemicals to kill it. We requested to be switched to another room so that they could disinfect the bathroom better....

"I love their Spa. After walking all day, it is so nice to soak in the spa. Location is perfect. 10 min walk to Dotonbori,15-20 min walk to Kuromon Market and Shinsaibashi Market. I have stayed in several hotels and this hotel charges a lot for breakfast. Also, they don’t offer any amenities like toothbrush, hair brush, cream and etc… overall, a nice hotel."

"My family loved our stay at MERBABU. We kept comparing it to all other hotel stays during the trip. When you first get there, you simply check in at a kiosk. We loved the projector and the light functions. The stove and washing machine were a plus! You can control things with the Alexa they have there. It was so close to the subway/train systems. Walking distance to restaurants and konbinis too! They offer great amenities everyday. Def staying there again for our next trip. "

We came with 4 luggages, didn’t know they have elevator for them, front entrance just has narrow escalators, just enough for carry on, hotel should inform clearly about elevator for luggages.
