"We arrived late and left early so I cannot comment on any of the staff except the night desk clerk who was very nice. She even upgraded our room which I very much appreciated. This is an older hotel and fairly outdated in terms of furnishings. The bed slept well though. Our room which was on the front side of the building was rather loud from highway noise. My biggest complaint has to do with the lighting used throughout the hotel. I realize that it is more cost efficient to use LED lighting, but it is the most uninviting/ugly appearance available. Actually, if Hotels would just learn about using the proper color of LEDs, they could solve the problem. No one wants to come in and relax in a room that feels like a warehouse. I would also feel more comfortable having a lighted, make up mirror in the bathrooms to assist in putting on makeup. Lighting fixtures, which project from the ceiling down cannot adequately show a person’s face well. And, as I’ve gotten older.(67)) my vision isn’t what it once was. . "We showed up late, at 9:30, no one was in the parking lot, but the lady at the front desk told me they only had one downstairs room left and she has the air on for us. Ok, cool, I'm disabled and can't do stairs due to multiple spine surgeries. But we get into the room and it was only a queen. Also, the air wasn't on, not sure why she lied to me about that, but whatever. I paid for a king so I'm not sure why i was downgraded to a queen without even being told that we were being downgraded. We were so tired we just decided to deal with it and not fight the lady over the downgraded room and empty parking lot. Then we noticed a giant burn in the blanket. The bathroom was dirty and the tub hadn't been cleaned out in who knows how long. "
