"I stayed at the Chaya house which was absolutely stunning. The staff were incredibly friendly and a joy to speak with. Otsu is a smaller quiet town with lots of character and friendly residents. I highly recommend checking out the local Izakayas and cafes for an equally excellent experience."

"The hotel is very conveniently located within the main train station. Not at all noisy though. It’s clean and comfortable. Staff at check in were very efficient.
