"Many thanks to Debbi and her family for hosting us in this lovely chalet. We visited during the winter and enjoyed the peace and quiet of the chalet. I thought that I would miss having access to an oven but it turned out that the stove top and toaster oven met our needs. A walk to the Gerber beach and view of the frozen Golden Lake was lovely. Thanks again."

"The cottage was spacious and has a beautiful view of the lake from the open dining/living room area. We saw lots of wildlife, including a deer who visited us often, nibbling on greens near the cabin—my daughters named her “Petunia”. All of the sheets, blankets, and towels provided were freshly washed and ready! The kitchen has most everything you need. The kayaks were a big hit with my kids. Village of Westport is about 15 minutes away and is a beautiful! We enjoyed our stay very much."

"Had a wonderful week at Xanadu with my husband and our little dog Skye. Perfect house with everything you could wish for for a relaxing getaway. The lake is beautiful and the friendly deer that visited each day was a real treat, there were also beautiful birds daily at all the bird feeders around the grounds. Westport itself has some lovely gift shops and restaurants. Booking was made very easy and any questions answered immediately and great experience all round."
