"The location of the hotel is excellent and was one of the things we liked the most\. The atmosphere is very quiet and relaxed, and you have a lot of freedom without anyone bothering you\. The staff was also very friendly, and the hotel is truly pet\-friendly, which was a big plus for us since we were traveling with our dogs\. On the other hand, the cleanliness was disappointing\. The bathroom had a strong urine smell, and some of the towels were already dirty even though we had not used them, which was unpleasant\. Another thing that could be improved is the TV, as it would be nice to have streaming options such as Netflix\. Overall, we really liked the location, the peaceful atmosphere, and how welcoming they were with our dogs, but I do think they need to pay much more attention to the cleanliness of the rooms\."

"When we first arrived at coastline Haven, we were a little taken back. It does look a little rundown on the outside and we did have some initial complaints, including the fire pit was just an overgrown area with a gas fire pit there the screens on the back porch were all ripped and broken, and it was impossible to walk on the path from the house to the beach however, you could easily use the path right next to the house, which is the public beach access. Once we did go into the house, however it was exactly as expected. The whole house was in perfect condition so much room. The rooms were all exactly as expected. The kitchen is beautiful. The back balcony overlooking the beach is gorgeous and a perfect place to relax. My two favorite parts of the house actually are the ice machine on the second floor by the laundry, which is so convenient and we used it constantly as well as the elevator such an amazing thing to have now of course at first the elevator wasn’t working, but that along with everything else we complained about was fixed in short order. The hosts were so great to work with responded so quickly to my texts and did everything we asked and more to have the Home in perfect condition, even replacing the screens and completely cutting all the grass and weeds by the beach path to make it very accessible they even put a beautiful string lights in the backyard at one of our suggestions I would 100% stay with them again highly recommend"

"My family and I had the best time for our first trip to the Outer Banks. The weather was not in our side but we made the best of it. The grands enjoyed the pool and the view was amazing from the back deck. There were plenty of chairs to use on the beach. We didn’t use the hot tub but seemed like a nice addition if wanted to use. The house is older but well maintained. The host was very responsive and check in was a breeze!"

"I loved drinking my coffee inside the screened in porch in the morning. We kept our beach towels, charcoal, shoes, cooler inside the screened in porch. You walk through the front door you immediately feel that ac blow on you. It was pretty easy to keep out the flies, if you get a few fly swatters are hung by the side fridge. This little cottage was such a vibe especially because it has the classic beautiful woodwork. The bathroom was updated and clean. We have a toddler and 2 older kids so the outdoor toilet was awesome when you are spending the day at the beach- you didn’t have to worry about cleaning them off really good and dragging sand into the house. The owner is 10/10 he is super kind. I would definitely stay here again."

"Although we had a hiccup with the pool pump and air conditioning on the 2nd level, it was quickly resolved. The view from the top deck is wonderful for catching a sunrise. Our family enjoyed our time here and will return in thr future."
