"My wife and went for a weekend getaway. The room was very nice. Easy beach access. The only thing I would do next time I go is bring my own pillow. The ones they had were okay but not what I prefer."

"The breakfast was great and the breakfast staff was two steps above excellent. Staff was great. The room was clean and the location is one of the best in Nags Head. The hotel just has a few years on it and a person can tell."

"Only third floor has proper sea view, choose accordingly if you want beach view from your balcony."

"While we not directly on the beach it was only a short walk. The ambiance of these vintage cottages was comfortable and spacious. "

"We had an ocean front room with the historic wood paneling. It was charming and comfortable. I loved having the ocean access. The only complaint came from my teenage companion. She was surprised at the lack of outlets for charging her many electronic devices. Myself, this was to be expected and I didn't stress over it! I will definitely stay here again when visiting the OBX. Thanks so much!"

"Beautiful space that looked just like the pictures. I love that we had plenty of space to park, and the space was cozy! I am very appreciative for our hosts-they checked in with us , made sure we were comfortable and also responded promptly to any questions we had! They also recommended places to eat and visit, which was great for this busy mom! We will most certainly be back once the weather is a bit warmer. Also, the view from the balcony was everything ! "

The walkout access to the beach is a huge plus, and the balcony connected to the bedroom makes for a beautiful, relaxing experience — you can even catch a stunning sunrise right from your room. The property itself was very clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need, including a full kitchen, refrigerator, and washer, making it ideal for a comfortable stay. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, which added to the convenience. The only minor drawback was that the overall condition and maintenance of the building felt a bit below expectations, possibly because we visited just before the start of the season."
