"Beautiful apartment! Great location! Franco and Maria were wonderful to work with. They were very accommodating and helped us set up transportation from our parking to the apartment since my parents would have had a difficult time walking with luggage to the apartment. The walk is not far but would have been difficult for my elderly parents with luggage in tow. The apartment was modern and spacious and conveniently located. I highly recommend! Thank you Franco and Maria for hosting us!"

"We have a warm welcome from our host Calogero who explained in detail of the accommodation and Palermo. The location is excellent and we can explore the city on foot easily. The rooms are tidy, though a bit dated/tired. Kitchen is spacious and well equipped."

"We were picked up from the airport by the owner. His wife was waiting at the apartment with fresh linens, stocked kitchen, coffee, toast, jam and many resource guides with suggestions of where to go and the best way to get there. Everything worked beautifully. Plenty of hot water, fresh air, and the temperature always perfect. We felt very safe at all times and enjoyed the ease of walking most places. "As a 3-star hotel, the Mediterraneo is excellent value for money and perfectly situated close to the Teatro Massimo and via Macqueda. The breakfast is excellent. However, it is a pity there is no kettle in the room for making tea or coffee. Also, there was no shower cap or shower gel. I have been coming to the Mediterraneo for 51 years (since 1975!). It has always been great under successive management. However, I would like to see a little more by way of facilities in the room, including also a stocked mini-bar."
