Property is conveniently located for a visit to old town Palermo our host Ivan goes out of his way to insure you have a great visit he will even arrange taxi service for you.

This was a little tricky to find, with the chaotic streets and traffic, but Alessandro came to the rescue,found us and drove us to his lovely B & B. Once there it was a wonderful spot to explore by foot. Beautiful rooms and wonderful staff.

Il Giardino di Ballarò is a small boutique hotel located right in the center of the old, historic part of Palermo not more than a 10 min walk from most of the sights. It is a very cozy and modern accommodation, and has a lot of character. We felt very welcomed as soon as we walked in - the staff is very welcoming and friendly, offered us refreshments and then provided us with a lot of useful sightseeing and dinning tips. Nice breakfast that you can have inside or in the outdoor private garden....

Highly recommend the property. We had a nice and large modern room with a/c and heat. Kettle and tea. 10 minutes to train station Centrale, where you can also take the airport shuttle and buses to everywhere. Breakfast on rooftop with spectacular views. Everything touristic easily walkable, restaurants galore. The only issue for some people would be that you have to walk up to the third floor, no elevator in the old palazzo. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. We were not disappointed...

Every aspect of our stay was amazing. Two of the hosts - Michele and Ivan met us at the front door, and insisted on carrying our bags upstairs. They then sat us down for coffee and canolo, before explaining what sights we should see in Palermo. The room was immaculate, and even though we were unable to partake because of our schedules, the breakfast options looked amazing. On our first morning, Janna had some pastries for us to take with us (every other morning, we were out the door way too...

Everything was great! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Great location and a wonderful stay overall. I would definitely recommend it and stay again!

Our room has a fun music theme. It was very comfortable. Breakfast, which was included, was delicious and our host Luca was very attentive. There is a lovely terrace where you can have breakfast if the weather is good. The location was perfect for exploring Palermo on foot. Luca gave us excellent recommendations for dinner. The rooms are a few stories up so I wouldn’t recommend it for someone who has accessibility problems. For us, it was a perfect location.

We stayed only for the night before our flight out but it is well-located so we could have a last walk into the historic center. When we couldn't be there for breakfast they prepared a carry out breakfast which was excellent. Beautiful rooms.

Loved the place. It’s beautiful, clean, and couldn’t be in a better location. Arrival by car was excellent with valet parking service. The owner personally welcomed us and made us feel relaxed, explained everything well, and gave us great recommendations for Palermo. The only thing that was not great is that we were 15 mins late to check out (at 11:15) and the person at the front desk made a big deal about that. Warmly greeted on arrival. The room was spacious for one, everything worked fine. Nice complementary kitchen items since I did not reserve with breakfast included. Great downtown location
