"Fantastic room with lots of space, hotel is so well connected for travelling around the city. Excellent breakfast buffet and we enjoyed a drink in the bar each evening. Be aware that it is very close to a train station and you do get noise as a result, but the pros of being able to move so easily around the city far outweighed any noise for us. They even provided ear plugs and we slept really well so it’s not a complaint at all, just something to be aware of. Staff were so helpful with every enquiry, and they have a great scheme where for every day you don’t need housekeeping, you get a drinks voucher. Would absolutely stay here again."

"The room was very spacious with a large bed. It came with complimentary water, coffee, tea, slippers, and a bathrobe for our use, which we appreciated. The breakfast buffet and dinner restaurant had very good service and selection, so we would recommend dining there as a convenient option in Berlin. The only issue that we noticed during our stay was that the soundproofing wasn't up to par. There were protests on the streets outside the hotel, and it was very audible from our room, so it would've been nice if the windows were soundproofed or they provided complimentary earplugs if this is a recurring issue for guests."

"The breakfast staff were very gracious and helpful. Breakfast options were very well prepared; lots of fresh fruit and coffees. Also, the hotel staff in general were very nice. If I were to suggest improvements-it would be to install a grab bar in the walk-in shower. Because the shower wasn’t equipped with a grab bar, nor any type of anti-slip mat for the shower floor-which was marble and could get quite slippery. Also, the TV remote control was not as useful as most I’ve found in hotel rooms: the “channel guide” didn’t indicate what program was being shown. So you had to keep refreshing the device in order to check out what was airing on the next channel. TV had several different languages- but only a few in English."

"We stayed here for five days. This is a very nice hotel, high-end, with staff who are used to taking care of their guest's wishes. The room inside was very nice, with a few exceptions. The bed was comfortable, as were the pillows, and it was a large room with a separate closet, water closet, and bath area. The in-room amenities were very nice (robes, slippers, chocolate, turn-down service); however, we did experience a few setbacks. First, the shower did not drain well. We mentioned this on our first day, and they didn't seem to get it fixed. Also, there aren't any plugs that are near the bed that you can access without pulling the bedside table away from the wall. Because my husband and I both use CPAP machines, this was quite cumbersome. Also, the location of our room was very far from the front of the hotel. The layout of this hotel is very odd, where you must walk long distances to get from your room to areas such as the sauna. We also noticed some housekeeping items that were surprising, such as cobwebs on light fixtures and trash/room service items staying in the hallway for extended periods of time. For a hotel of this caliber, I would not expect this. We had a great experience overall, especially our evening drinks from the bar. The location was wonderful, and we would stay again, but there are just a few items they might want to tighten up."

"Hotel location was perfect, walkable to many locations and public transport. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Only criticism was how warm the room was, they don't have proper air-con so very limited in trying to cool the room down - if we were staying in the summer this would have been a real issue."

"The hotel was very clean and modern. The reception staff when we arrived were efficient but not especially welcoming. The room had very comfortable beds, was clean and tidy, but the lighting in the room was terrible - very dark. The pool is very small but pleasant, but the changing facilities in the spa were very cramped. The location of the hotel is excellent - very central and walking distance of most of the major sights. The restaurant was excellent for breakfast - fantastic selection on the buffet each morning which was all delicious, and good coffee. The only let down was one morning we came down they couldn’t find us a table because they were catering for a conference party and put us in the atrium public seating area away from the restaurant and expected us to walk back and forth up and down steps with our selection from the buffet which was not ideal because the hotel was so crowded. We had one evening meal on the first night which was tasty but small menu, small portions and overpriced compared to other local restaurants. The cocktails were good but again pricey. Overall a great first trip to Berlin thank you."
