Beautiful authentic boutique hotel. I had to stay one night on my way to Galapagos and did not want to stay at one of those chain modern places. This hotel is very charming, with hammocks outside and place to walk safely on the property. Bonus airport transfer included. Onsite restaurant open till 10PM with great food.

I somehow thought this would be closer to the airport, but it was about a 30 minute drive. Nevertheless, Llalo was very clean, safe, professionally operated and the breakfast on the porch was ideal. The rates were appropriate for the lodging. I highly recommend it.

I chose this hotel for its proximity to Quito's Plaza Grande and for the hotel's own plaza to show those traveling with me some of the architectural style, knowing that we wouldn't have a lot of time in Quito. The hotel makes a nice stay over when transiting via Quito to the Galapagos or other destination in Ecuador. Staff and service were great, very welcoming and helpful. We ate dinner in the Botanica Restaurant and found the service and quality excellent (try the Tempura Shrimp entree). This hotel is an old hacienda from 1910 with a cool nature trail. There is a great breakfast provided in lovely dining room with a fire place. The land scape is nicely maintained with pretty flowers and birds all around. We even were feeding llamas with carrots. My husband and I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Mama. We were pampered since we stepped in until we left. We definitely will stay again if we visit Quito again in the future.

I’ve traveled all over the world, five countries in the last 12 months. I have to say that this hotel had the best customer service I’ve ever seen. I was treated like a king as a regular traveler. I never leave reviews but I want the next traveler to Quito to find this gem.

Hotel Finlandia has great staff that speak English and Spanish. The rooms offer ample space with adequate closet space. The bathroom was nicely appointed with a large shower and a small countertop. Besides being a clean, beautiful and comfortable hotel, the CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EXTRODINARY. I forgot my family's passports and money in the hotel safe and left for the airport which is 40 min away. I didn't realize my mistake until I was in the airport terminal with only 1 hour before our flight.
