"We had a wonderful stay at Peverel House. Well equipped with all that you and your four legged friend could need. Wonderful walks, we particularly enjoyed a wonderful circular walk taking in Ashford in the water, Monsale Head and Shacklow woods, stopping at the characterful Stables Bar for a quick drink. We also had wonderful service and food at The Packhorse Inn. Our first but definitely not our last visit to the Peak District. Thankyou "

"A lovely cottage in a beautiful village with excellent amenities. The cottage was well equipped and comfortably slept 8. We weren’t having to squeeze in! The host was very welcoming and checked in regularly to make sure we had all we needed. Defy recommend!"

"Very cute little cottage. It is very clean, has all the comforts of home but away from home. We didn’t expect all the little extras that make our holiday perfect such as tea, coffee, milk and even biscuits! There is everything you need in the kitchen if you want to cook! It is conveniently situated in the village with shops, pubs and restaurants. Location is also near Monsal trail for walking and cycling along all the beautiful dales by the river Rye. I am very glad I chose this cottage for our stay. Definitely recommend the cottage to anyone who wants to stay in the Peak District for hiking holiday."
