"This hotel is large and has an attached water park. When it was built and last refurbished, it was a quality place. Now, after so much use, it is shabby in some ways. However, the room was clean and the bedding and towels were above average. The mattresses are good. There is a mildew smell in the hall leading to the water park addition, but my roomed smelled fine. Staff is very friendly and helpful. It is dog friendly for a fee. I’ve stayed here 5 or so times and never had a bad experience. There is a beautiful beach with easy access right outside the back door. There is indeed a bridge vista of the Mackinac Bridge and you can watch the ferry boats coming and going to Mackinaw island. It is enchanting at night. There is good coffee available in the morning. No breakfast, although there are discount coupons for some of the local places. I only know of one hotel in the city that offers breakfast, so this is not unusual. Ample parking is available with a secure lot. Outside doors of the hotel are not locked at night, although there are good deadbolts on the room doors with easy electronic keys."

"Stayed here 2 nights. Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was continental. Basic cereal, muffins, waffles, yogurt, etc., wished it would have been more. Gas station is connected to property which was nice. Casino also in attached lot. Hotel could use some updates but staff was very friendly and helpful. No pool but large hot tub."
Crown Choice Inn & Suites Lakeview & Waterpark

"We enjoyed our 3rd floor balcony. Our kids loved the splash pad and swimming area. You can also go to another splash pad area just a minute or so away depending on where you stay. No breakfast but it’s no worries as we brought a bunch of food with us. I would stay here again. The screen door was broken and there was some mold on the bathroom shower curtain. Also the hair dryer and the back up hair dryer didn’t work at all. If any of this applies to you just speak up as staff were very friendly and all around the hotel was very clean. Great view and would safer again."

"The location was great just short walk to see the bridge.The room needed work the tub shower fixtures were all shot sink drain not working properly.And furniture is really ready to go.And was expecting are continental breakfast.Didn’t like the places you wanted to send us for breakfast"
