"Staff was nice and lodge room was clean and comfortable. The stairs to the second floor unit are in disrepair with loose railing, split steps. The second floor walkway is visibly bowed."

"The staff were very kind, keeping that in mind the hotel needs extensive renovations and cleaning. It was sufficient for the inexpensive price that we paid but do not expect any housekeeping because they pass right by your room. The pool and hot tub were relaxing but were also in need of a good cleaning and some maintenance. Overall I would recommend this hotel for the inexpensive cost and the ability to bring your dog but not much else."

"Very nice room! It looks updated and the indoor pool was nice. We had a suite on the second floor that had a balcony that looked out over Lake Huron it was very nice we even ate dinner one night on it. It was less than 5 minute walk to Arnold ferry to Mackinac Island no need to drive you’re vehicle anywhere and pay for parking. I would definitely stay here again next year if the price stays right!! The woman at the front desk very helpful and nice too"
