"Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great and had a large variety of food. Employees were on top of refilling food."

"We enjoyed our stay here. We got a balcony room overlooking the beach and lake. The balcony's have privacy partitions between them with a lovely view of the water. There are fire pits on the beach surrounded by Adirondack chairs, beach chairs for sunbathing, and a picnic table. The rooms were nice and included a min-refrigerator. The beds were comfortable. The property was clean and well kept. I would definitely consider a second visit."

"Room was clean & charming. Could use a little updating & painting. Towels could be refreshed every day. Staircase handrails could use some maintenance. Bed is very comfortable. Shower is safe. Lots of room for personal items, clothes & shoes.. Spacious room. Many electric outlets. Much sitting area. Great, centered location."

"Very nice place. Clean. Good breakfast. Gave us extra towels and pillows when asked. Staff were polite and attentive. Price was reasonable. Only problem was that there were metal squares protruding on the bed frame and we kept hitting them on the backs of our legs when getting out of bed. Also, the pillow cases were “pilly” so they need to invest in new ones. We would stay again but bring our own pillow cases. Overall a good stay."

"Our room looked out to the parking lot and the main entrance of the hotel, couldn’t open the blinds as we would be on full display. The room was just off the front desk so there were always people around when coming and going from the hotel, very congested. Very disappointed, The room was freezing, 62 degrees, we were finally given a space heater to warm the space but still had cold air blowing on our heads. The shower was nice, plenty of hot water. Breakfast was good and had a nice view. The downstairs bar was nice and had popcorn available. It is a nice hotel, but our room left much to be desired."

"Could use a bit of updating but generally clean and well-maintained. The location, just across the street from a lighthouse and marvelous view of the Mackinac Bridge, was superb -- I would recommend booking the lakeside rooms that had patios for viewing. Instead of offering breakfast (beyond coffee and granola bars), we were given BOGO coupons for nearby breakfast restaurants, but the online reviews for these noted that the BOGO choices were limited, overpriced, and not very good -- drive around the corner and go to Audie's Restaurant instead."
