Loved my stay in the villa over the koi pond. The location is great with everything within walking distance. A car can not drive all the way down to the property but Adi will help you with your bags on a scooter to reach the entrance. The only down side is the Wi-fi. If you are looking to work from here, you will not be able to rely on the internet. But there are plenty of cafes and options close by!

Staff very helpful

A great location in a busy area. Easy to find and everything is in walkable distance. We stayed for 3 nights and everyday our room was cleaned. Breakfast is a bonus. Very friendly and attentive owners. The stay is perfectly located that you should not worry about the noise.

We enjoyed staying this place. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very good, lovely meal with nice view. We stayed only 2 nights. I wish to stay here more. Cars cannot go through road to the place which I didn't know. So we walked to the narrow hilly road with suitcases. We should have asked a taxi driver to call the hotel, so they could help.

Thank you for everything you did! From the first day you made me feel at home, welcomed and very well cared for. I booked Ubad Retreat as recommended by the conference I was attending as a less expensive option. Just a thought that I couldn’t have ended up at some chain hotel or anything less personable than The Ubad Retreat is makes me thankful even more to the family that ownes this place. I will return for sure !

A+ to the staff. Vinna and Kadek are like having family around. They took excellent care of us. They cooked a fantastic breakfast every morning especially the homemade sourdough bread and jam. Helped arrange transportation around Ubud and was just generally there for us when needed. The room was very nice, but was a little disappointed there was no TV. A/C worked like a charm. Outside area was full of beautiful flowers/plants. I'd definitely recommend it!!

It was an amazing experience friendly staff they even allowed me to cook I would definitely recommend anyone to visit I know I’m definitely going back it’s definitely a hidden gem

Warm and welcoming staff. Lovely family

As you walk into this property, family of a few generations live here along with several pets. Family members are very friendly and greeted us with a smile every day. Behind the family property they converted it to a 8 units for guests. Our unit was small but tastefully done. Perfect location for center of Unud. Walkable everywhere. Tons of places to eat. Hired taxi took us around everyday. We enjoyed our stay Ubud and the surrounding areas has a lot to offer.

The staff where more like friends.

Clean room, staffs are all very kind, great breakfast and convenient location. Strongly recommend your memory in Bali.

I don’t even know how to describe Asli Bali Villa, another traveler I met there called it a gem but it is more than that. If you want to experience authentic balinese food, lifestyle and culture this wont disappoint. I had only booked one night but within the first hour I knew I wanted to stay as long as I could and booked a few more nights. The villa’s grounds are clean and reflect mastery of the art of gardening and sculpture that have been carved by the owner. Beautiful Koi swim in several...

Byasa is an awesome place to stay. Our only complaint is that we didn’t stay long enough! The rooms/ property are beautiful and the customer service is simply outstanding. They accommodated our room requests and even provided a cell phone for us to use to call the hotel at any time. Also, the breakfast is made to order and absolutely delicious. I hope to stay here again on a future visit!

Our stay in Jati cottage was just lovely. We were going to stay only three days and then change to another hotel to experience a new place. However the room was so great ( really comfy bed and sheets), and the staff too super nice ( Dewa will help you with what you need) and the swimming pool just delightful that there was no reason for us to move and we stayed a total of 6 nights. If you want a nice, comfy base with western comforts and a balinese feel while you explore Ubud this is your...
