"The property is in prime location of ubud, very central at monkey forest road. Bar, Restaurants and massage parlours were from walking distance. The hotel itself has beautiful restaurants and spa facilities. 10-15 walk from Ubud palace, Saraswati temple & monkey forest.
The outdoor pool and property was very well maintained and most of the villas has their own private pool, so the public pool is never crowded."

"This place was just perfect for me to be quiet and focus on a project I've been working on
The staff is wonderful, the room was quite large, I think it's well worth the price."

Beautiful grounds, excellent service, except for my butler he needs to clean the room better. The pool is lovely but it needs more steps or a rail to hold on.

This hotel is situated along a stretch of road where there are the best food and drink options and just a 10 minute walk to the city center where the market is. Great shopping lines the street so it's always a nice stroll otherwise thet will shuttle you for free. The hotel staff is THE FRIENDLIEST we have met in all of Bali. Smiling, attentive and wanting to make your stay perfect. On our last day our server even brought us a special cappuccino he made with our names written on it. No matter...

This hotel was tucked away in unspoiled nature. Seeing the steam rise from the canyon after a rain never disappointed. On the first night, monkeys were migrating through my yard. I think they wanted the welcoming fruit basket. Jero took really good care of us. It was also nice talking to Agas, who has a sister in Nashville. Everyone was so friendly. I am not a fine diner, but I can appreciate the care and effort the restaurant staff took. Edi took time to talk about the local dishes created.

Beautiful property, food is wonderful and plentiful. Shuttle is great, very prompt, we also walked to town and back a few times. Spa is very nice. They have a tea and cakes tasting from 4-5pm everyday. Staff helped us set up excursions and rides.
The staff is very nice, helpful and friendly. They are open to complaints and compliments.
The vilas are spacious and clean. They are indoor outdoor and can be opened up pretty well. The staff does a mosquito set up at night during turndown,...

Great hotel, the room seems to have been a smoking room, it smelled little bad. We also found a cockroach. The rest were perfect, great breakfast, environment and pool area. Good for couple and for relaxing. I feel that the hotel is slightly overpriced.

My husband and I stayed at Alila for 3 nights. We were fascinated by the location (in the middle of a forest!). Waking up to the sounds of the birds chirping was just unreal!
Service - we were adorned with superb service at Alila. Everyone was friendly and always pleased to help us. The kind words they used such as, "my pleasure," just showed how much they cared about our satisfaction. On our last day, we got to meet the property manager and he was absolutely fantastic! We appreciated the time...

Paradise found. My husband and I were there for a week.
The hotel is gorgeous, set in a serene lush tropical hillside near a river surrounded by palm trees and rice fields.
The rooms are amazing. The private infinity pool is very relaxing,
Yoga, mediation, cooking classes, Bali dancers are all excellent.
Very close to Ubud: shopping, monkey forest, rafting and artisan villages.
The staff there is wonderful. They really go out of their way to make everything perfect.

Absolutely blown away by this hotel. The staff were beyond accommodating, they were fun, generous and kind. Each of them knew our names and itineraries daily, asked about our adventures gave us great tips and introduced us to not only their culture but their personal lives as well. Hands down the most stunning hotel I’ve ever seen. This was a last minute booking, thanks to @hotelsdotcom as I had another hotel reserved which was not being responsive. @hotelsdotcom recommended canceling that...

I LOVED everything about the property!
Not only have I had a wonderful time, but a FANTASTIC time during my stay!
From the moment I arrived at the property and greeted by Suar with a wonderful smile; who’s been most helpful during my stay….! I could not have asked for more!
The restaurant, Terracotta was very very good! The food, drinks, and the service by the staff were excellent! They even serve Bali produced wines!
I was SAD leaving the property on my checkout day! I need to stay longer...

Fab pools, views, and spa. Breakfast options wonderful. Room was truly incredible. Entire staff top-notch. Breakfast options excellent. (Dinner was fine.)
If you can swing it, book a villa on a high floor -- we had villa 157 -- absolutely stunning.

The property was great.... JUST REMEMBER YOU ARE IN UBUD INDONESIA... things are busy and what you might take for granted at home might be a luxury in Ubud.. the shower, bathroom and living area we're clean and nice... The bed was HARD.. the ceiling fan was obnoxiously noisy.. the property is located in a busy part of the city. Circle K right across the street.. you can seriously walk the whole city easily.. now for the staff... You will make friends for life.. great people amazing attitudes..

Highly recommended. This room was a bit hard to find. It is off a street along several walkways and across a rice field. The rooms are scattered in several buildings, all with private porches and outside exits. They have amazingly carver entrance doors and doors to the bath. It is as if you were invited to someone's private upscale home/palace in Bali. The breakfast was served on the roof/ 4th floor of one building with amazing views of the area. The proprietor was a terrific gentleman,...

We only stayed one night since it was expensive. I was really interested in the Vegan/Raw cooking. We did the 7 course tasting menu. It was spectacular but came with a hefty price. 75 per person was a little more than we think it should have been worth. 50 would have been fair.
The rooms are a little humid, the sheets felt damp. This is simply the area, it can't be perfect.
The Rock bath tub was probably our favorite part. AMAZING! Its riverside private and relaxing. Their isn't much around...

My partner and I stayed for two evenings - which was not enough at all! Bagus Jati is an incredible resort...went beyond our expectations! The grounds were beautiful and extremely well-maintained, the room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable, the balcony had a lovely view of the rainforest, and the organic self-grown food was delicious. It really is a retreat from the world, with all the rooms facing the enchanting canyon of the jungle. The pool was beautiful and the spa was of high...
