"Staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful. The building is full of history. Comfortable bed, lovely shower. Food was really good, both evening and breakfast. Penrith is a lovely town for a mooch and nice to see independant shops. "

"I was given a very warm welcome and offered a homemade cookie ( very delicious). I stayed in.room.8 a single small but more than adequate, everything was provided and the room and bathroom.were spotlessly clean. The hotel requires that you pre-order breakfast for delivery at a chosen time slot, the next morning it arrived bang on time and was lovely and hot with everything you could expect. "This was our 4th visit to Pooley Bridge. It has parking and free WiFi. The menu is varied and well priced. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are pretty, functional and the beds are comfortable. The towels are huge and fluffy. "

"Lovely comfortable place to stay with a cosy room with thoughtful touches like biscuits and toiletries included. Friendly, helpful staff. Convenient position - not too far away to drive into from the motorway and only minutes’ walk into the centre Penrith with its bars restaurants and attractions. Delicious breakfast too! Parking available on site or on road with a permit provided. Would definitely recommend!"
