"This is a very old, but quaint property. The room was large and the en suite bathroom was also large. We arrived just after a snow storm. The village and surrounding area was beautiful. The house was almost as warm as te welcome and friendliness of Mario the owner. "

"We were greeted with a warm and attentive welcome by Rosio which was a great way to begin our stay in Lucca. Our immaculate room and bathroom were big and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet is absolutely amazing and delicious with many choices to chose from. It was an easy walk to the historic center. "What a surprise. Ignore the reviews. This is not a Marriott, nor should you be after one whilst staying in Italy. What this is is a delightful Italian hotel with incredible staff, Italian styled rooms and an incredible spa. Breakfast also wonderful. Take the train up to old town and you'll have a wonderful evening"
