"Stunning property with beautiful views. Very quiet area! House was very clean and the garden was beautiful . We did not have a car , but Diego helped us communicate with the local taxi service. Taxi took us into the town of Barga when we needed and picked us up ! Diego was also very quick to respond and willing to help out with anything we needed . Great experience. Thank you !"

"Pure tranquility with the constant burble of the trout stream. The house is quite someway up a mountain, down a dirt track and in a valley - not for the faint hearted. Pool relies on sun to heat and the temperature was still quite fresh in June. Great location for access to Florence, Pisa, Chianti wine region, and host of beautiful hilltop towns and villages. "We rented all three houses for 12 people, which worked very well. The grounds and the area are typically Tuscan, very charming and beautiful. The propertymanager is very helpful and available. "We greatly enjoyed our time at this house close to Castelnuovo di Garfagnana The view from the house and the pool is absolutely amazing. The house is spacious and beautifully remodeled. It is well equipped and had everything we needed. We went for day trips to Lucca, Pisa and Isola Santa Lake. "The house was very clean, comfortable and spacious and we never tired of the superlative views across the valley. Diego and his dad are lovely and always available when needed. If I was to suggest an improvement, it would be a little more kitchen equipment - there was no sharp knife for cooking, no collander, few wine glasses and an oven tray that didn’t fit the oven. "Fabio was a great host making us feel so welcome bringing us fresh cherries and generally making sure we had all we needed. Accommodation and pool were great, not a heated a pool but on hot days that’s no issue. Location was perfect for us as it provided privacy, tranquillity and views while also only being a 15 min drive from a shop, train station which put Lucca, Pisa and Braga all within reach.
